Set a rate per stylist or per service and let Glown total it from the actual work. Your team can see their own earnings, so the end of the month stops being a negotiation.
You set a commission rate for each staff member, or for each service where the split depends on the work rather than the person.
As appointments are completed, Glown calculates what each person earned directly from the bookings. Staff can see their own totals on their phones, and the figures flow into payroll and payslips inside the same product, with no export, spreadsheet or re-typing in between. It is included free; Glown charges 2% per booking, capped at ₦2,000.
When commission is worked out from memory and a notebook, the argument is not really about the money. It is about nobody being able to prove what happened.
Calculated from real bookings
Not from a notebook, not from what anyone remembers about a busy Saturday.
Both of you see the same number
Her total is visible to her as she earns it, not revealed on payday.
Straight into the payslip
No spreadsheet in the middle to introduce a different figure.
However you actually pay your team, rather than however the software assumes you do.
Per person
Set a different percentage for each member of the team, so experience and seniority are reflected without you recalculating anything by hand.
Per service
Where the split varies by the work rather than the person, set the rate on the service instead. Both approaches can run side by side.
Adds itself up
As appointments are completed, each person's earnings accumulate. At the end of the week the number is simply there, calculated from the actual bookings.
Visible to the team
Each staff member can see their own completed work and what it earned, from their phone. Disputes mostly come from opacity, and this removes it.
Mixed models
Some of your team are on a wage, some purely on commission, some on a base plus a percentage. Glown handles all three in the same payroll run.
Straight into payroll
Commission flows into the payroll run and onto payslips in the same product, so the number you agreed is the number that gets paid.
01. Add your team
Each person, their services and their working hours.
02. Set the rates
A percentage per person, per service, or a base salary plus commission.
03. Work as normal
Earnings accumulate from completed appointments with nothing to calculate.

The rest of the money side of running a team.
