Salaries, commission and everything in between, calculated from the work your team completed, with payslips at the end of it. Same dashboard as your bookings, no export step.
With Glown, yes.
Payroll is calculated from the appointments your team actually completed, so salaries, commission-only pay and base-plus-percentage models all run from the same dashboard you take bookings in. Payslips are generated per staff member, bonuses, advances and deductions are recorded against the run, and carry-forwards move amounts between pay periods so nothing is lost at the boundary. Payroll is included free. Glown charges 2% per booking, capped at ₦2,000.
Every salon payroll mistake has the same shape: a number that was correct in the calendar and became something else on the way to the payslip.
No export step
Payroll reads the same records as the calendar, so there is nowhere for the figure to drift.
Nothing lost at month end
Carry-forwards move late-completed work into the next run instead of dropping it.
A breakdown you can show
The payslip explains the number, which is what ends the recurring argument.
Including the adjustments that generic payroll tools pretend do not happen.
One source
The appointments your team completed are the same records payroll runs from. Nothing is exported, re-keyed or reconciled, so the number cannot drift between the calendar and the payslip.
Any pay model
Most Nigerian salons run all three at once: a salaried receptionist, commission-only stylists, and a senior on a base plus a cut. Glown handles them in a single run.
Payslips
Each person gets a payslip showing the work, the rate and the total. Being able to show the breakdown is what stops the same conversation happening every month.
Carry-forwards
Amounts that need to move into the next run carry across properly, so a late-completed booking is not quietly lost at the boundary of a pay period.
Deductions & bonuses
Add the real-world adjustments a month always contains, and keep them recorded against the run instead of in a side note nobody can find later.
Visible to staff
Staff see their own completed work and earnings as they go, so payroll is a confirmation of something they already believe rather than a surprise.
01. Set each person's pay
Salary, commission rate, or a base plus a percentage.
02. Let the month run
Earnings accumulate from completed appointments automatically.
03. Run payroll and issue payslips
Review the run, make any adjustments, and pay.
What owners ask before they move payroll off a spreadsheet.
With Glown, yes. Payroll is calculated from the appointments your team actually completed, so salaries, commission and mixed pay models all run from the same dashboard you take bookings in. Payslips are generated per staff member, and adjustments and carry-forwards are handled inside the run rather than in a separate spreadsheet.
Yes. A salaried receptionist, a commission-only stylist and a senior on a base plus a percentage can all be paid in the same run.
From completed bookings. Because payroll and the calendar are the same system, there is no export step where the figures can diverge.
Yes. Adjustments are recorded against the payroll run, so the reason for a difference stays attached to the month it belongs to.
Carry-forwards move amounts into the next run so nothing is lost at the boundary between two pay periods.
Yes, showing the work, the rate and the total. That alone usually ends the recurring arguments about pay.
No. Payroll and commission are included rather than sold as a premium tier. Glown charges 2% when a client pays for a booking, capped at ₦2,000.
