Glown has no subscription or setup fee, and adding staff costs nothing. It takes 2% when a client pays for a booking, charged once, capped at ₦2,000, and never applied to services you add after the booking is confirmed.

The questions owners ask before they sign up.
There is no subscription, no setup fee and no charge per staff member, branch or terminal. Glown charges a booking fee of 2% of the booking's services, capped at ₦2,000 per booking. By default the fee is added to the client's bill, so the business pays nothing; you can choose to pay it yourself instead.
Your client, by default: it appears on their bill. If you would rather your prices be all-inclusive, turn on the setting to pay it yourself.
It is charged once per booking, whether the client booked online or at your desk, and it is worked out when the booking is made. Services added after the booking is confirmed do not add to it.
Yes. The 2% is part of the booking, so it applies whether the client pays online, by transfer, on your POS or in cash. When the cash comes to you, Glown settles its share from your Glown wallet. Because the fee is on the client's bill by default, the cash you collect already includes it.
₦2,000. The 2% reaches the cap at a booking of ₦100,000; anything above that still pays ₦2,000.
Online card and Paystack payments carry Paystack's processing fee, which the client pays by default. You can choose to absorb it. Cash, bank transfers to your own account and payments on your own POS terminal have no Glown processing fee.
Mostly not. Everything your clients need to know about their booking, from confirmations to reminders and changes, goes out free on SMS, WhatsApp and email. Your own alerts are free too: every new booking, cancellation or other alert sends one SMS or WhatsApp on us, so the first person you add to receive it is covered. Copies to anyone else you add, such as a manager or the stylist on the booking, are a small charge per message from your message credit. Glown tops that credit up to ₦500 for free every month you take bookings. Email is always free. The only other messages you pay for are the ones you choose to send: marketing broadcasts, automations and direct messages.
A small balance for the SMS and WhatsApp messages you choose to pay for. On the 1st of every month, Glown tops it back up to ₦500 for free, as long as you have taken a booking in the last 30 days. Need more? Top it up from your Glown wallet. The cost of a broadcast is shown before you send it.
Yes. If you run a chain, a franchise or a high-volume business, or need terms that suit how you work, email [email protected] and the team will put together pricing that fits.
There is no trial because there is nothing to trial into: every feature is available from the day you sign up, with no plan to upgrade to.
